repair
milestones

John bought the boat in October of 1998.  It was in Palm Harbor for a couple of weeks.

With the help of other sailing friends, the cabin deck was re-glassed on Feb. 10.  T

The biggest hurdle, repairing the transom, was completed 3/17/99.

The boat was hauled into the boatyard for repairs and painting the first part of November, 1998.

4/23-Boat completely re-wired for 12 volt. Better than we hoped for and worth the wait. Engine being repaired.

Work started in earnest the first week of February, 1999. Minor repairs were made along with lots of scraping, sanding, caulking, priming and painting.

The Primer coat was applied on Feb. 23, 1999.  Progress is progressing!! At least now, it looks like progress!!

OOPS!

Apr. 23 - Boat was totally re-wired, thanks to Friend, Ron, from Arizona.

When John bought the boat, it was named "Tweeter Too".  This did not fill his ideas of acceptability.  After months of discussion and thought, and the discarding of mundane names, he wanted something "fun" to name his first boat.  OOPS! was chosen. It kinda fits in with our "nothing serious" attitude.
The boat colors, it seems, will be beige and cranberry.  Maggie's looking for places to add coral touches!!

5-15-99.  Maggie is now the official owner of OOPS!
